Living Water World Missions (LWWM) equips and sends mission teams from throughout the United States to install and operate clean water systems in places where they are needed.
Why? Because:
The Bible asks us, "If anyone has this world's goods, the resources for sustaining life, and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him? " It then instructs us, "Let us not love merely in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth, in practice and in sincerity." (1 John 3; 17-18, Amplified Bible)
While our main focus of installation has been in the Central American country of Guatemala, we have installed systems in other nations in the world including in Cuba, Haiti, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru. We are committed to go where God leads us, and including on trips persons who wish to participate in this ministry with us.

How the work in Guatemala got started with our CEO and founder Mark Vanciel:
My very first trip to Guatemala was in September 2003, when I went with three other guys to build a water cistern in a village that had limited access to water during the dry season. On that trip I saw the problems that the people endured for lack of clean drinking water, and began to think of ways to address those problems.
Over the next four years I returned to Guatemala, twice each year, to work on other projects, but kept coming back to the idea that the lack of clean drinking water was the most significant issue facing the people we were working with in their communities.
In October 2007 I had the opportunity to attend training on how to build a functional Clean Water Filtration System, and the following month was able to return to Guatemala to build one at The Centennial Camp, Youth Camp that was being developed by a consortium of Guatemala Churches.
At the dedication of that system, the pastors of the churches that owned the Camp asked if we could return to install similar systems in their churches because, they said, “Our children are dying for lack of clean water”.
So for the next four years, we returned two and three times each year to build water systems in those churches.
In May 2012, as this ministry continued to grow, we founded Living Water World Missions with the primary objective of sharing the Gospel of Christ in the context of building and installing Clean Water Systems where ever they may be needed
Since then we have been sending Teams each month to install water purification systems throughout the world, and will continue to do so for as long as we can, because there is still much work that needs to be done, and so little time in which to do it.
To God be the glory...
